Bituplast
Bituplast is an elastomeric waterproofing bituminous emulsion with elastomeric additives, resins, and mineral stabilisers. It is a high-performance waterproofing material. It has excellent adhesion to construction materials. The film formed after application and drying has exceptional elasticity, making it ideal for both low and high temperatures and effectively covering capillary cracks in the substrate. It is resistant to dilute solutions of acids and bases, unaffected by soil salts, but vulnerable to organic solvents, oils, and strong chemical cleaners. It is user and environmentally friendly because it contains no solvents. It is diluted with water. It is compatible with polyurethane, polystyrene, concrete, metal, and wooden surfaces. It is certified according to the requirements of EN 1504-2 and bears the CE marking as a concrete surface protection product.
Applications
Bituplast is used for waterproofing and protection on horizontal and vertical concrete surfaces (such as roofs, floors, exterior walls, and foundations), for creating a vapour barrier, and for maintaining old bituminous layers.
Packaging and storage
Available in plastic containers 5kg and 18kg. Store in a covered area at temperatures above 5ºC for at least one year.
