Bituminous aluminum paint
Bitual
Bitual is bituminous aluminum paint with organic solvents, aluminum paste, and special additives. The film formed after application and drying has high reflective capacity, protecting the substrate from solar radiation and reducing its thermal load. It is highly resistant to dilute solutions of acids and bases but vulnerable to organic solvents, oils, and strong chemical cleaners. It is compatible with polyurethane, concrete, metal, and wooden surfaces. It is not compatible with polystyrene due to the presence of solvents. The product’s properties meet the requirements of ASTM D-2824, Type I.
Applications
Bitual is used as an insulation reflective paint for bitumen coats, protection of existing or new bitumen waterproofed surfaces when exposed to sunlight, and external anticorrosion protection of metallic surfaces (pipes, tanks).
Packaging and storage
Available in metallic containers of 5kg and 17kg. Store in a covered area, away from ignition and heat sources, for at least one year.
