Waterproofing bituminous solution
Rubberlac
Rubberlac is an elastomeric waterproofing bituminous solution with synthetic elastomeric additives and organic solvents. The film formed after application and drying has excellent elasticity, making it ideal for usage in both low and high temperatures, and effectively covers the capillary cracks in the substrate. It is resistant to dilute solutions of acids and bases, unaffected by soil salts, but vulnerable to organic solvents, oils, and strong chemical cleaners. It is compatible with polyurethane, concrete, metal, and wooden surfaces. It is not compatible with polystyrene due to the presence of solvents.
Applications
Rubberlac is used as a primer to increase adhesion for self-adhesive bituminous membranes and tapes, for bonding thermal insulation panels, and for waterproofing and protecting concrete surfaces.
Packaging and storage
Available in metallic containers of 1kg, 5kg, and 17kg. Store in a covered area for at least one year, away from ignition and heat sources.
