AMBIT-S
AMBIT-S is a highly viscous special bituminous mixture. It improves the adherence of asphalt to aggregates. When aggregates are tested to be hydrophilic, AMBIT-S is added during the production procedure of the warm asphalt, eliminating the destructive effects of wet aggregates in the asphalt pavements.
Applications
AMBIT-S is ready for use. It is added at 1% approx. per weight of warm pavement asphalt. Stir well before use for better homogenization. It is applied at temperatures above 5 °C.
Packaging and storage
Metallic barrels, net weight 180kg. In environmentally controlled areas, at temperatures higher than 5ºC for one year at least.
