Waterproofing bituminous primer
Bitulac primer
Bitulac primer is a waterproofing bituminous primer with special bitumen and organic solvents. It has excellent adhesion to construction materials and dries very quickly. The film formed after application and drying is resistant to dilute solutions of acids and bases, unaffected by soil salts, but vulnerable to organic solvents, oils, and strong chemical cleaners. It is compatible with polyurethane, concrete, metal, and wooden surfaces. It is not compatible with polystyrene due to the presence of solvents. The properties of the product meet the requirements of ASTM D41.
Applications
Bitulac primer is used as a primer for bonding of bituminous waterproofing membranes, and anticorrosion protection of metallic surfaces. Compatible with polyurethane, concrete, light concrete, bricks, plasterboard, metallic and wooden surfaces. Non-compatible with polystyrene, due to the solvent’s existence.
Packaging and storage
Available in containers of 1kg, 5kg, and 17kg. Store in a covered area for at least one year, away from ignition and heat sources.
